NCFI Terra-Lok™ 24-120 Single Component Polyurethane to stabilize and fill voids behind this Florida Seawall. The project also featured the Terrapin All-Terrain Single Component Work Station, and the technical support of the polyurethane supplier and experts Pro Foam
The process works by injecting the single component polyurethane at depths where it can fully permeate the loose soil and voids. After injection, the low-viscosity polyurethane reacts with moisture and expands though the soil. The injections are gradually pulled up to higher depths in order to ensure maximum coverage and treatment. The injections are made at pre-determined weak locations along the entire length of the seawall. The results are a fully stabilized and compacted soil layer, where cracks, voids, and loose joints are fully sealed. .
